- Monty and I have been married 17 years. We have two daughters. Makenzie is 14. Makayla is 11. We also have a very spoiled daschund named Chloe. We started this blog as a way to post updates on Monty during his open heart surgery, hospital stay, and recovery.

Melissa, I hope you had a good mother's day. We went to Glen Rose Thurs. for a couple of days away from the phone and everything, then ended up at Lisa's on Sat. We got to see all the family, but not all together. Michelle's baby is now 3 1/2 weeks old and really growing. I hope you all can come by the Fitzgerald reunion for a while. We continue to pray for all of you and I know you are such a stronger wonderful Mother.
