Where has the time gone?

I can't believe it is almost fall. It is my favorite time of the year. The house is decked out for fall and I am anxiously awaiting the day after Thanksgiving so I can get my snowman collection out. Since I wrote last, the auction business has grown tremendously. We had to move to a bigger location and are in the process of buying a building that is twice the size of what we have now. I never had a desire to be an auctioneer, but it has been such a blessing. We have met so many kind people who have became friends over the past year.  We had four auctions last weekend. I even did a fire department fundraiser auction by myself. It was fun! I am looking forward to the weekend. I'm going to visit with a friend and enjoy a weekend off. I really have no idea where the last 6 months has gone. It seems like only a few days ago that I wrote on  here. I am writing now because I had a request or maybe a demand from my friend, Kmay aka Kasie, to update my blog. Her wish is my command. haha

Since I last wrote, Makenzie turned 16 and got her drivers license. Makayla turned 13 and found out a couple of weeks ago that she has retorn her meniscus and will have surgery again this summer. The girls and I are winding down the school year and are ready for summer. The girls will be opening a snow cone stand in Paradise the first week of June.  As for Monty, he is keeping the girls and I very busy with the auction business. In case anyone doesn't know, he opened his own company, Monty Fitzgerald Auctioneers, in October. The business is going well. In fact, so well that we are moving the business from Decatur to Paradise as we have already outgrown the building on 51. Not to mention that the new building has AIR CONDITIONING. I'm quite excited about that!

Kmay - this will have to do for now because the Rangers game is on!
