- Monty and I have been married 17 years. We have two daughters. Makenzie is 14. Makayla is 11. We also have a very spoiled daschund named Chloe. We started this blog as a way to post updates on Monty during his open heart surgery, hospital stay, and recovery.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to all of you! We are all so blessed through the birth and blood of Jesus. We have lost 7 friends (One our next door neighbor who was drunk and died at 29 along with another guy 30 in a wreck not far from home). Doug had lived by us 14 years. All of this has happened since Sept. 25. Tuesday we buried one of my very best friends, my older sister, who taught me so much. She was 10 years older than me. 2010 has to be better, but we are so grateful and thank God for Monty every day. Melissa you are so very special and the girls also. I tried to respond about Makayla and her teacher, but I don't think it went thru. We had a really good Christmas and got to see all of our grandchildren at different times. We would still like to come see you all. Just let us know sometime when you are going to be home.
