Makayla went back to the doctor last Thursday. She has been in a long leg cast for 5 weeks and was able to get a shorter cast. She was hoping to get a walking boot. The doctor said maybe in three more weeks she can get one. She will have her growth checked every six months in both legs to determine the amount of damage to the growth plate. Here are a couple of pictures of her colorful casts.
